Büsching is an impact crater in the south of the front of the moon , northeast of the crater Maurolycus and from the book of about the same size . The crater is heavily eroded, the interior largely flat.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the German geographer Anton Friedrich Büsching .
