Bab-as-Saghir cemetery
The Bab-as-Saghir Cemetery ( Arabic باب الصغير, DMG Bāb aṣ-Ṣaġīr ) is a Muslim cemetery in the Syrian capital Damascus . It is located outside the old town, southwest of the Umayyad Mosque, south of the Bab al-Saghir (Little Gate). Numerous personalities from Islamic history are buried on it. It is an important Islamic pilgrimage site , especially for Shiites .

- Tomb of Ruqayya, daughter of Imam Husayn
- Grave of Umm Kulthum, sister of Imam Husayn
- Tomb of women prophets (ummahat al-mu'minin): Umm Salma and Umm Habiba
- Tomb of Fidha, maid of Sayyida Fatima ( daughter of the prophet),
- Tomb of Hujr Ibn Adi, companion of Imam Ali
- Tomb of Kamaid bin Aswad al-Kindi, companion of Imam Ali
- Tomb of Abdullah bin Ja'far at-Tayyar, husband and cousin of Zaynab
- Tomb of Obay ibn Ka'b: husband of Halima, nurse of the Prophet
- Tomb of Bilal al-Habashi , muezzin of the Prophet Mohammed
- Tomb of Abdullah bin Umm Maktum - Muezzin
- Tomb of Abdullah bin Imam Zain al-ʿĀbidīn
- Tomb of Abdullah bin Imam Ja'far as-Sadiq
- Grave of Fatima Sughra bint Imam Husayn
- Maqam Ra's Schuhada. The burial place of the heads of the martyrs of Karbala . Persian also called uch ganj-e sarha-ye schuhada-ye Karbala .
