B-goods

As B-Ware also substandard goods (short second product or second product called), are in contrast to the A-Ware (first choice) and designated C-Ware (third choice) sale items that fall out of a trader from the normal distribution and Special price are offered, but are new or as good as new and fully functional. The limitation of the warranty for B-goods to one year is not permitted in Germany.

Distinctions

When goods second choice may be:

  • Articles that are no longer originally packed , but are considered new: These are articles that have only been unpacked and presented or viewed by the customer once, as well as returns from the mail order business.
  • Items with minor defects: These include as good as new demonstration devices, samples and exhibits as well as damage to cardboard boxes where the original packaging has been damaged or is missing. Otherwise, these articles have no or only minor optical defects (signs of use) that have no influence on the functionality of the object.
  • So-called serviceware: These are items that have already been repaired once and thus restored to a new state.
  • Remaining or special items , i.e. surplus remnants
  • Swap Stocks: These are goods that are held in the manufacturer's warehouse for the purpose of exchanging guarantees. When the equipment is phased out, these items will also go on sale.

Pieces marked as B-goods are sold at special prices with various discounts.

The designation B-goods for material products should not be confused with designations such as B-movie or B-film in the film industry. These are only small budget films, which still have original quality from first hand.
