B3 was an American boy band from New York . They split in December 2004.
history
In 2000 Rod Michael, John Sutherland and Tim Cruz met in New York. Before B3, Rod was involved in several TV projects, John was on stage at the Broadway Dance Center and often in front of the camera and Tim gained experience with the band React and modeled. Their first hit was the cover of the Bee Gees song You Win Again , followed by Nightfever and the summer hit I.OIO , with which they got gold in the summer of 2002 . In between, they released their first album First , which features 12 Bee-Gees covers and a song written by Rod Michael ( Where I’ll Be ).
At the end of September 2002, however, Rod Michael left the band, but a new one was quickly found: Blair Late. Together with him, John and Tim released the song Tonight and Forever in early November , their first self-written song that was published. This was followed by You're My Angel , an album called NYB3 and a Germany tour (March 24, 2003 to April 6, 2003), on which the video for the next single We Got the Power was shot at the last gig in Stuttgart . After that there was a long break and many fans thought this was the end of B3, but B3 came back in October with the new single All the Girls . A special edition of the second album NYB3 followed shortly afterwards with three further tracks and a DVD with four videos of performances on the tour. This was followed by a longer break of seven months, then B3 started with Move Your Body , the official song for EYES 2004 (European Year of Education through Sport 2004). Then was followed by the single Can't Fight the Feeling and the third and last album Living for the Weekend , was from the one last single extracted from a video from all previously recorded videos and scenes were edited together: Until the End of Time .
The separation message appeared on November 10, 2004 in the Bravo and a final farewell concert by B3 took place on December 11, 2004 at "Inside the Night" in Oldenburg .
