The LWP Eg 7-8 were two electric locomotives operated by the Electric Local Railway Vienna-State Border near Hainburg (LWP). They were in 1916 because of the increase in traffic volume for those with DC -powered Vienna city range of Pressburger Bahn nachbeschafft.

The machines had centrally arranged driver's cabs that carried a pantograph. As with the LWP Eg 1–4 batteries were built into the two low stems , with which the shunting was made possible in the system interchange station Groß Schwechat . The wooden superstructures of the locomotives were clad with sheet metal. The upper part was white, the side parts, unlike Eg 1–4, were painted red-brown.

Due to many problems in the electrical part (frequent replacement of motors) and the lower capacity of the batteries, the locomotives were not very popular, but technically they were superior to the Eg 1–4. They were mostly only used when no Eg 1–4 were available.

Both locomotives suffered a total loss during World War II and were finally retired on May 25, 1951.
