BC Apollo Amsterdam is a Dutch basketball club from Amsterdam .

history

The club was founded in 2011 through the merger of BV Lely and the Mosquitos , both small clubs from Amsterdam. In the 2012/13 season, Apollo started in the Eredivisie , the highest Dutch basketball league. After ABC withdrew, a team from Amsterdam played in the Eredivisie again after a year break.

Apollo lost 32 of the 36 games and finished the ten league in ninth place.
