history
The company was founded in 2007 and its main purpose is to rent locomotives to other railway companies, primarily for construction train service. The use of locomotives is controlled by Contec Rail ApS , this company is also responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the locomotives.
Carsten Lundsten is the company's founder and managing director.
vehicles
BLDX owns four former MX locomotives from Danske Statsbaner (DSB). MX 1017 to 1019 were acquired in 2007 by Lokalbanen A / S , which used them on Hillerød – Frederiksværk – Hundested Jernbane (Frederiksværkbanen). MX 1030 came from Dansk Jernbane ApS in 2008 .
