Contec Rail ApS is a Danish railway company . The company is based in Hørsholm .

history

The company was founded in 2007 and operates the rental of mainline and shunting locomotives and wagons to other railway companies , including for construction train service. In addition to the vehicles , the company provides employees such as train drivers , shunters and security personnel.

Kenneth Dam is the company's managing director.

Contec Rail owns a number of former MX locomotives from Danske Statsbaner (DSB), as well as other individual pieces and some small locomotives. The freight car park includes flat wagons from the former inventory of Hærens Operative Kommando , which were previously used by the Danish army for transporting tanks, and self-unloading wagons for transporting gravel, which were taken over by Banedanmark . The company also manages the locomotives of the company BLDX A / S . The vehicles are serviced in our own workshop in Køge .
