The BMK Group , based in Augsburg, is a German EMS service provider and contract manufacturer for electronic assemblies and systems. The core competencies include production and electronics development. The company has branches in Germany and the Czech Republic.
history
The company was founded on April 5, 1994 as a management buy-out by Stephan Baur, Alois Knöferle and Dieter Müller as BMK professional electronics GmbH. The operation previously belonged to NCR Corporation , then a subsidiary of AT&T . Production takes place on an area of over 30,000 m².
Group structure
The BMK Group is divided into three companies:
- BMK professional electronics GmbH manufactures electronic assemblies from 1 to over 10,000,000 pieces.
- BMK electronic solutions GmbH has specialized in the development and production of microcontroller controls.
- BMK electronic services GmbH serves the areas of logistics, electronics repair and data management.
Every year more than 5,000 product variants from 8,000 production orders are produced on 12 SMD high-performance lines and around 50 self-sufficient production islands for electrical assembly.
