The BMTS Technology GmbH & Co. KG (formerly Bosch Mahle Turbo Systems GmbH & Co. KG) develops and manufactures exhaust gas turbocharger for passenger cars, light commercial vehicles and off-highway applications.

history

BMTS Technology GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 2008 under the name "Bosch Mahle Turbo Systems GmbH & Co. KG" as a joint venture between Robert Bosch GmbH and MAHLE GmbH .

In March 2018, the Bosch Group and the MAHLE Group sold the joint venture to FountainVest Partners (FountainVest) based in Hong Kong. Since the sale, BMTS has been continued under the name BMTS Technology.

Employees and locations

The company currently has around 1,300 employees and is represented worldwide with locations in Stuttgart (Innovation Center), Blaichach (production of exhaust gas turbocharger components), St. Michael ( Austria , European main plant for series production), Novi Sad (production) Plymouth (sales and development), Ramos Arizpe (production), Shanghai (production, development, sales) and Jinan (production).
