badminton

In badminton, Post was one of the most successful clubs in the GDR in the 1960s. However, due to the lack of a youth team, the 1961 team champions were downgraded from the top division. It was not until the mid-1980s that Post began again successful youth work in badminton.

rugby

The BSG Post Berlin was one of the relatively few company sports associations that had a rugby section. The first team played in the Oberliga, the top division. In the 1980s, Post was a top team in the GDR. Between 1984 and 1988 they won third place in the championship five times in a row. In the two years 1989 and 1990 the team was runner-up. The company sports association made it to the final of the German Rugby Sports Association's cup at least four times , but lost all games. However, the club was able to celebrate championships and cup victories in the youth sector, where BSG Post Berlin was one of the most successful clubs in the 1980s. Berlin's youngsters won at least 13 championships. After the post sports clubs in Berlin merged in 1990, there was initially still the rugby section, which, however, was spun off from the club in 2003 as RK 03 Berlin .
