BSat 3c (also called JCSAT-110R ) is a commercial communications satellite owned by the Japanese Broadcasting Satellite System Corporation and SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation .

It was placed in geostationary orbit on August 6, 2011 at 22:54 UTC with an Ariane 5 ECA from the Center Spatial Guyanais together with Astra 1N . This was the 203rd launch of an Ariane rocket, the 59th of an Ariane 5 and the 32nd of the ECA version. The start was initially planned for July 1, 2011, but had to be postponed because of an iced-up valve in the system for the liquid hydrogen that was then replaced and then again briefly because of bad weather.

The three-axis stabilized satellite is equipped with two sets of each 12 Ku-band - transponders equipped and will supply 110 degrees East Japan with television from the position. The by Lockheed Martin Commercial Space Systems built satellite is based on the A2100A - satellite bus and has a design life of 16 years. The contract to build BSAT-3c took place in early 2009.
