The Gelsenkirchen Ball Game Club was a German football club from Gelsenkirchen .

history

BV Gelsenkirchen first appeared nationwide as a participant in the West German Football Championship in 1907 . Two years later, the club reached the quarter-finals as a season winner, but clearly failed at BV Solingen 98 with a 2: 6 defeat. In 1911 the club joined the Turner Club Gelsenkirchen in 1874 . After the First World War , the club merged with SuS Schalke 96 to form TuS Gelsenkirchen 74/96 , which after the clean divorce is now back under the name Turner-Club Gelsenkirchen 1874 .
