West German football championship
The West German football championship was held in the years 1902/03 to 1932/33 by the West German Game Association (until 1907: Rheinisch-Westfälischer Spiel-Verband ). There was no competition from 1914/1915 to 1918/19. The master was determined 26 times in total.
There have been several reforms of the systems. In 1923/24, for example, the Gaumeister was initially determined in seven districts. The seven Gaumeister then determined the West German champion in the league system . This took part in the German soccer championship .
In 1933, the Gauliga was introduced as a uniform top division in the German Reich .
