BWK Das Energie-Fachmagazin (original title fuel, heat, power ) is a specialist magazine for the energy industry and energy technology published by the Association of German Engineers (VDI) . The magazine deals with practice-related topics in the energy sector.

It is a specialist body of the VDI Society for Energy and Environment (VDI-GEU), the German Steam Boiler Committee (DDA), the Research Center for Energy Economics (FfE eV) and the Association for Steam Boiler, Container and Pipeline Construction. According to the magazine, the target group includes the management as well as [...] the commercial and technical decision-makers of the power generation and energy supply companies, the plant operators and the energy-intensive consumers ”.

From BWK in twelve issues appear. In the months of January / February and July / August double issues are published. The magazine is published by the VDI Fachmedien .

history

After the Second World War, the VDI started the magazine fuel, heat, power in 1949 as the successor to the archive for heat management and steam boilers . At the turn of the year 1999/2000, the trade journal was renamed BWK in order to meet the new requirements of the changing energy landscape.
