VDI Fachmedien is a German specialist magazine publisher. It was founded in 1997 under the name Springer-VDI-Verlag as a joint venture between Springer Verlag and VDI Verlag . At the turn of the year 2018/2019, VDI Verlag also took over all shares held by Springer Nature and renamed the magazine publisher VDI Fachmedien.
