Noise abatement (sub-title magazine for acoustics, noise protection and vibration technology ) is a specialist magazine that has been published since 2006 . Topics are the physical, psychological, social and economic effects of noise , noise measurement and assessment as well as technical, legal and organizational possibilities for noise abatement .
There are six issues of Noise Abatement every year. The magazine is published by VDI Fachmedien GmbH & Co. KG. It is the successor to the magazine for noise abatement that was published until July 2006 (until 1979 fight against noise ), which was published from 1953 to 2006 by the German working group for noise abatement .
