The Babasultan Dam ( Babasultan Barajı in Turkish ) is a dam on the Karadere, a tributary of the Göksu Çayı ( Kocasu Çayı ) in the catchment area of the Sakarya in the Bursa Province in northwestern Turkey .
The Babasultan Dam is located 13 km northwest of the city of Inegöl on the northern flank of the Uludağ Mountains. It was built in 1996-2009 for irrigation purposes . The barrier structure is a 46 m high earth-stone embankment dam. The dam volume is 2,075,000 m³. The reservoir covers an area of 1.275 km² with normal damming. The storage space is 15.76 million m³. The dam is designed for the irrigation of an area of 4100 ha.
