Babett Ikker

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Babett Ikker (* 1982/1983 in Potsdam ) is a former German child actress who as the lead actress in a DEFA - children's film has been known.

Life

Ikker was selected from around 800 children by director Rolf Losansky in 1992 to play the leading role in the children's film Zirri - Das Wolkenschaf . In the film, she portrayed the eleven-year-old Christine, called “Schiene”, who spends the holidays with her grandmother in the village and finds a cloud sheep there that has been pushed out of the sky. Together with her friends, she is doing everything possible to bring the sheep back to heaven. The film, which is based on a children's book by Fred Rodrian , received various international awards. The actors in the film were criticized by the critics as "over the top and superfluous" - "except for the role of the girl [rail], which the little actress fulfills in a pleasantly effortless and appealing way".

Ikker later passed her high school diploma and trained as a dental technician . She is currently (as of 8/2011) a master class student in a dental laboratory in Potsdam.
