Babu (Hezhou)

Babu ( Chinese  八 步 区 , Pinyin Bābù Qū ; Zhuang Bahbu Gih ) is a Chinese municipality in the Guangxi Autonomous Region of the Zhuang nationality. Babu belongs to the administrative area of ​​the prefecture-level city of Hezhou . Before the creation of Pinggui from parts of Babu and Zhongshan, it had an area of ​​5,334 km² and in 2004 had a population of 930,000.
