Ahmet Akyalçın

Ahmet Akyalçın (born March 4, 1949 in Afyon ; † March 2, 2018 ) was a Turkish lawyer and former member of the Turkish Constitutional Court . Until his resignation on March 16, 2012, he was president of the conflict of jurisdiction court .

career

After completing his law studies at Ankara University in 1972, Akyalçın worked as a public prosecutor in Pütürge , Bozdoğan , Pınarbaşı and as a public prosecutor in Çeşme and Bandırma . In 1997 he became a member of the Court of Cassation and was a member of the ninth and seventh criminal panels.

On June 16, 2000, he was appointed a full member of the Constitutional Court and on September 12, 2005 he was elected President of the Conflicting Competence Court. He retired on March 16, 2012

Akyalçın was married and had two children.
