Pütürge (Kurdish: Şiro ) is a city and capital of the district of the same name in the Turkish province of Malatya . The district of Pütürge is located in the south of the province and borders the provinces of Adıyaman , Diyarbakır and Elazığ . 3,058 people live in the city of Pütürge and 22,201 people in the entire district (as of 2008).

The highest mountains in the district are the Kube dağı (2150 m), the Ulubaba dağı (1397 m), the Kira dağı (2159 m) and the Giripınar dağı (1252 m). The main rivers in the county are the Şiro and the Uzuntaş.
