Akçadağ (formerly Arga ) is a city and capital of the district of the same name in the Turkish province of Malatya . Akçadağ County is located in the southwest of the province and borders the Kahramanmaraş Province . 8,948 people live in the city of Akçadağ and 33,431 people in the entire district (as of 2008).
