Hekimhan (Kurdish Patrîkxan) is a city and capital of the district of the same name in the Turkish province of Malatya . Hekimhan County is in the north of the province and borders the Sivas Province . 7,802 people live in the city of Hekimhan and 25,479 people in the entire county (as of 2008). In addition to Hekimhan City, there are five other small towns with a mayor in the entire county.
The late Hittite rock inscription of Şırzı is located about seven kilometers north of Hekimhan near the village of Boğazgören .
