Coordinates: 33 ° 3 ′  S , 135 ° 28 ′  E The Wudinna District Council (until 2008 District Council of Le Hunte ) is a local administrative area (LGA) in the Australian state of South Australia . The area is 5394 km² and has about 1250 inhabitants (2016).

Wudinna is located in the north of the Eyre Peninsula about 360 kilometers as the crow flies northwest of the metropolis of Adelaide . The area includes 23 districts and localities: Addison, Carina, Cocata, Condada, Cootra, Hill, Kappakoola, Koongawa, Kyancutta, Mamblin, Minnipa, Moorkitabie, Mount Damper, Palabie, Pildappa, Pinbong, Pordia, Pygery, Travers, Wannamana, Warramboo , Wudinna and Yaninee. The administrative headquarters of the council is located in the town of Wudinna, which has a population of around 500, in the center of the LGA.

The Wudinna Council has seven members who are elected by LGA residents. Wudinna is not divided into districts. The circle of Councilors is presided over by a chairperson.
