Baby Lilly (French: Bébé Lilly ) is an animation character and a music project from France, which celebrated numerous chart successes between 2006 and 2010.

Baby Lilly was created in Saint Ouen as a project of the Heben Music label at the height of a wave of dance-style children's songs that made it into the French charts in large numbers (e.g. Ilona Mitrecey , Schnappi , Pigloo , Pinocchio ).

Lilly is a one year old blonde baby with big light blue eyes. In the first computer-animated video entitled Allô Papy , she dances in diapers together with her toy figures, while she asks her grandfather (in the German version, her father) typical toddler questions over the phone, text message and computer. The song, released in April 2006, came in at number 5 in France.

In the same style, one release after the other followed at regular intervals and seven of the next eight titles were able to place in the French top 10, the most successful was La jungle des animaux with 4th place. With a version of the French Christmas classic Petit Papa Noël was Baby Lilly also successful in Switzerland. In addition, four albums were released from 2006 to 2008, but all of them were far less successful.

After Baby Lilly had sold over half a million singles in France, the project was also exported to other European countries and Asia, where as many singles were sold again. In Portugal, for example, Bebé Lilly was very successful from the end of 2006 and came in at number 2 and 14 on the album charts with the albums Este EO Meu Mundo and Super Bebé . In early 2008, the debut single was released as Hallo Papi in a German version in German-speaking countries. It was just as successful in the charts as the subsequent album Meine Welt .
