Ilona Mitrecey (born September 1, 1993 in Fontenay-aux-Roses , Hauts-de-Seine ) is a French singer .

Life

She is the daughter of the singer Dan Mitrecey and his wife Sylvie, a publisher.

At the beginning of 2005 she recorded the single Un monde parfait ( German "A perfect world"), on which she sings to catchy techno rhythms about her childish ideas of a perfect world among animals under a blue sky. Shortly after its release, the single reached number 1 on the French singles chart on March 6, 2005 and stayed there for 14 weeks. Many see Un monde parfait as the French equivalent of Schnappi, the little crocodile .

The second single, C'est les vacances , went straight to number 3 in France in June. Gabry Ponte , a famous Italian DJ and music producer, also contributed a successful remix to this single .

The third single by Ilona Mitrecey is called Dans ma fusée , the fourth Noël, que du bonheur , in German "Christmas, what a luck".
