history

The history of the company is closely linked to the Bachert bell foundry, which also produced fire fighting equipment as early as the 18th century. The factory in Kochendorf was meanwhile run by Albert Bachert.

While the Karlsruhe factory was already taken over by Kaelble in 1953 , the Bad Friedrichshall factory, which was rebuilt after the Second World War, under the management of Albert Bachert's son Eugen Bachert (1905–1993), flourished from 1951 when, in addition to ladders and syringes, it was also complete for the first time Fire trucks produced. In the 1980s, turntable ladders were built in cooperation with the VEB Feuerlöschgerätewerk Luckenwalde.
