Badenstrasse 44 (Stralsund)
The house with the postal address Badenstrasse 44 is a listed building on Badenstrasse in Stralsund .
The building complex was built in the middle of the 16th century by merging two from the 14th / 15th century. Century-old, gabled houses of different widths . The facade was completely redesigned, and a storefront and a transverse wing were built in the courtyard area . Since a restoration in 1978, the facade has been in the condition after this merger.
The upper floors and the two volute gables are designed in the same way. A large half-timbered bay rests in the middle on pillars above the portal . The house trees have been preserved in the houses .
The house is located in the core area of the city area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 70.
