The at 590 m above sea level. A. lying bathing lake in the center of Rechberg is fed by the Hiesbach , the overwater flows on over the Hiesbach towards Naarn . It is just under an acre and a maximum of seven meters deep. After a "lake festival without a lake" had already been held the year before, work began in 1970 on the project to stimulate local tourism, which was promoted by the mayor at the time, Karl Weichselbaumer . This importance for tourism is also expressed in the municipal coat of arms, which shows the water of the lake. At the lake there is a leisure area consisting of a lawn, a beach volleyball court , jetty, springboard and raft. A kiosk offers drinks, ice cream and snacks. In order to optimize the water quality, several natural cleanliness basins were subsequently created in the area.
