The Badische Allgemeine Versicherung AG (Badische Allgemeine) was founded on December 20, 1988 as a joint subsidiary of the Badischer Gemeinde-Versicherungs-Verband (BGV), Karlsruhe , and the public insurance company of the Badische Sparkassen ( ÖVA ), Mannheim , with headquarters in Karlsruhe and establishments in Karlsruhe and Mannheim.
