The Baden Chamber of Commerce and Industry was a short-lived Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) between 1933 and 1935, based in Karlsruhe .

After the seizure of power by the Nazis in 1933, the previous nine chambers of commerce in were Republic of Baden ( Freiburg , Heidelberg , Karlsruhe , Konstanz , Lahr , Mannheim , Pforzheim , Schopfheim and Villingen ) dissolved on July 1, 1933rd Tasks and assets were transferred to the newly founded Baden Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which was to form the centralized IHK for the state of Baden. Organizationally, the core of the new chamber was the previous Karlsruhe Chamber of Commerce and Industry. However, this wasbrought into line : the self-government of the economy was abolished, the chamber organized according to the leader principle . Branch offices of the Baden Chamber of Commerce and Industry were set up in six of the previous chambers (Mannheim, Karlsruhe, Pforzheim, Freiburg, Schopfheim and Konstanz).

The new organization was dissolved two years later on March 5, 1935. The IHK Mannheim, Karlsruhe, Pforzheim and Freiburg were re-established as successor institutions. This structure also ended in 1942 with the merger of the IHKs together with the chambers of crafts to form the Upper Rhine Gauwirtschaftskammer .
