Baffour Gyan (born July 2, 1980 in Accra ) is a Ghanaian football player . His brother Asamoah Gyan is also a professional footballer.

Career

society

Gyan shuttled back and forth several times between the Ghanaian club Liberty Professionals and the Greek teams AO Kalamata and Anagennisi Karditsas . In 2000 he came to the Czech club Slovan Liberec and stayed there until 2004. He then moved to Russia and played there for Dynamo Moscow and from 2006 to 2009 for Saturn Ramenskoye . From 2009 to 2011 he was active for Asante Kotoko . Since 2011 he has played for the Libyan club Al Nasr Benghazi .

National team

Gyan has played regularly in the Ghanaian national team since 2000 . In 2002 and 2008 he was in the Ghanaian squad for the African Championship . In 2004 he was used in all three games at the Olympic soccer tournament in Greece up to the preliminary round from Ghanas. As early as 1999, he took part in the 1999 Junior World Cup with the U20 national team. It was not considered for the 2006 World Cup .
