The Liberty Professionals Football Club , or Liberty Professionals for short , is a football club from the Ghanaian city of Dansoman . It was founded in 1996 and reached the semifinals of the WAFU Club Cup in 2009 .
history
The Liberty Professionals, founded in 1997, started their first season in the second division of Ghana, but made it to the first division within two years. Since then they have always held the class. The club has a farm team Thika United FC
Thika United
The "farm team" was founded in 2000 under the name "Beirut FC". It was a suburban team, loosely organized by a few socially committed people who tried to keep the youth busy and to keep them away from criminal activities.
Thika United is still a company-independent association with the following football divisions:
- Thika United Ladies
- Thika United Players
- Thika United Youth
There is also the boxing division.

The Dansoman Park stadium has 2000 seats.
