Bafia languages

The Bafia languages are a language group within Guthrie Zone A of the Bantu languages . It is classified as Zone A50 and contains five individual languages ​​that are spoken by around 72,000 people in Cameroon .

The individual languages ​​are:

  • Bafia , around 60,000 speakers
  • Dimbong , about 140 speakers
  • Hijuk , about 400 speakers
  • Lefa , about 10,000 speakers
  • Tibea , about 1400 speakers
