Dimbong (also Bape, Bumbong, Kaalong, Kalong, Lakaalong, Lambong, Mbong and Palong) is an endangered Bantu language and is spoken by around 140 people in Cameroon (1992 census).

It is spoken in two villages northwest of Bafia in the Mbam district in the Center province .

classification

Dimbong is a Northwest Bantu language and is part of the Bafia Group , which is classified as the Guthrie Zone A50.
