Bagaré is both a municipality ( French commune rurale ) and a department encompassing the same area in the West African state of Burkina Faso , in the northern region and in the province of Passoré . In 2006 the community had 23,311 inhabitants.
Seven kilometers west of Bagaré is the Forêt classée de Niouma , a state nature reserve.
