A bagel head ( English for bagel-head ) is a temporary form of Body Modification in the salt solution under the forehead is injected. This creates a deformable bump that looks like a bagel when pressed in the middle . Bagelhead or donut head is also the name for the person who carries a bagelhead.

The bagelhead is said to have been presented for the first time in 1999 at ModCon , a trade fair for body modification. A well-known user is the photographer and body modification activist Ryoichi Maeda.

A sterile saline solution is injected over a period of approximately two hours. After about ten hours, the fluid is reabsorbed by the body, causing the deformation to regress.
