Bahía de Kino is a town in the Mexican state of Sonora .
It is located 107 kilometers from Hermosillo in the municipality of Hermosillo and has one of the most attractive beaches in the state. Bahía de Kino is 28 kilometers from Isla Tiburón , which was discovered on December 24, 1539 by Captain Francisco de Ulloa.
history
The city was probably named after the missionary Eusebio Francisco Kino, who toured the area in the 17th century.
