Bahiya al-Hariri ( Arabic بهية الحريري; *  June 23, 1952 in Sidon , Lebanon ) is a Sunni Lebanese MP and sister of the former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq al-Hariri .

In 1970 she graduated from a teacher training college and worked as a teacher until 1979. From 1979 she was head of the Hariri Foundation founded by her brother . In 1992 she won the seat for the Sunni in the constituency of Sidon for the first time. In 1996, 2000 and after the attack on her brother Rafiq's vehicle convoy on February 14, 2005 in the parliamentary elections in June 2005 , she was able to win the seat again.

She currently chairs the National Assembly's Parliamentary Commission on Education and Culture and is a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and Immigration.

She is also a special envoy for UNESCO and Vice-President of the Arab Union's Inter-Parliamentary Commission on Women.

Bahiya al-Hariri has been on the board of directors of the Lebanese American University since 1992 .
