NEA Jazz Masters Fellowship

The NEA Jazz Masters Fellowships of the NEA, National Endowment for the Arts , are awarded annually to up to seven (established) jazz musicians in recognition of their life's work to date. It is the highest official honor for jazz musicians in the USA .

The award comes with a cash prize of $ 25,000 for each artist. In addition, the NEA jazz program organizes numerous events, in particular the Jazz Masters Live series , during which excellent artists can take part in concerts, master classes and lectures.
