Make Way for Noddy (Original Title: Make Way for Noddy ) is a British children's series . The computer-animated television series is based on a character by the children's book author Enid Blyton and ran on Channel 5 .

concept

The series is about Noddy, a little wooden boy who lives in toy land. There the toys come to life and Noddy goes on a series of adventures. Supporting characters include Uncle Willy, Wachtmeister Plod and Tessie Bear. The British series is the seventh adaptation of the Blyton character for television. It is computer-animated and consists of 12-minute episodes. The television series is aimed at preschoolers .

Charisma

After the series ran very successfully on British television on Channel 5 since 2002, a US version was broadcast by PBS under the title Say it with Noddy . This consisted of two 12-minute episodes each, supplemented by two three-minute scenes in which Noddy either learns a word in a foreign language, music videos were broadcast or a host moderated. A German dubbed version of this version was broadcast on the Nickelodeon channel on February 6, 2006 . A total of 54 episodes have been produced so far.
