The Haussmann - Saint-Lazare is an underground station of the Paris train network RER . It is the starting point of the line e .
The station
The station was opened for the commissioning of the RER E on July 12, 1999 and is located in the 9th arrondissement near the Gare Saint-Lazare . It is located near the Boulevard Haussmann , after which it is named. The boulevard was again named after the city planner Georges-Eugène Haussmann .
The completely underground station consists of two platforms and a total of four tracks. It has strong architectural similarities to the Magenta train station , which was opened at the same time and which is also on line E.

In the Haussmann - Saint-Lazare station itself, only the RER E runs, but there is direct access to the Gare Saint-Lazare and the metro station of the same name . From there, there is again access to the metro stations Opéra , Saint-Augustin and Havre - Caumartin as well as to the Auber RER station .
This means that the metro lines 3 , 7 , 8 , 9 , 12 , 13 and 14 as well as the RER A can be reached from Haussmann - Saint-Lazare . There is also a connection to local and long-distance trains at Gare Saint-Lazare.
