The Higashi-Jūjō ( Japanese 東 十条 駅 , Higashijūjō-eki ) station is located in Kita-ku in Tokyo on the Keihin-Tōhoku line of the East Japan Railway Company (JR East).
History and use
On August 1, 1931 , the station was opened by the Japanese National Railways as Shimo-Jūjō station, since April 1, 1957 it has been called Higashi-Jūjō Station . It is currently only used by the JR Keihin-Tōhoku Line .
In 2006, an average of 21,601 people used this station every day.
