The Radom Railway Station is the largest train station in the town of Radom in Poland . After the three major train stations in the capital Warsaw, it is the most important train station in the Masovian Voivodeship . The station building from 1885 is a listed building .

history

The station building in classicist style was built in 1885 and partially destroyed in 1915 during Russian-Austrian fighting . The architect was Adolf Schimmelpfennig . The restoration was carried out in the style of the Polish Renaissance . The building on Beliny-Prażmowskiego Street was placed under protection in 1988 and entered in the Polish list of monuments with the number 623791.

Between 1989 and 1992 the station building was expanded to include a new, barrier-free reception hall. Another renovation and modernization took place in 2012-2013.
