Vestamager is an above-ground metro station in the Danish capital Copenhagen , in the southern part of the Ørestad district . The station is served by the M1 line of the Copenhagen metro system . The elevated metro station was opened on October 19, 2002 for the newly built Vestamager – Nørreport metro section. It is the terminus of the M1 line.
