The railway line Kralupy nad Vltavou – Velvary is a regional railway connection in the Czech Republic , which was originally built and operated by the priv. Austro-Hungarian State Railway Company (StEG) as the local railway Kralup – Welwarn. It runs in Central Bohemia from Kralupy nad Vltavou to Velvary .

On March 11, 1883, the StEG was the right to Build and businesses branching below the north of its main line as a standard gauge railways Local railways carried out: ... from the station after Kralupp Welwarn ... awarded. The route was opened on October 18, 1882.
After the nationalization of the StEG, the line was transferred to the kk Austrian State Railways kkStB on January 1, 1908 . After the First World War, the newly founded Czechoslovak State Railways ČSD took their place .
The 2008 timetable provides for a total of 16 pairs of daily passenger trains on weekdays, which run at approximately one- hour intervals .
Vehicle use
Today the train traffic is handled exclusively with two-axle railcars of the 810 series .
