The Prenzlau – Strasburg line was a single-track, non-electrified line of the Prenzlauer Kreisbahnen . It went into operation in 1902. In 1997 it was shut down. Today the route is completely dismantled.

history

The route was opened on December 2nd, 1902.

For most of its existence, three pairs of trains ran daily from Prenzlau to Strasburg and back.

From March 15 to May 22, 1993 the line was closed due to poor superstructures. In May 1995 the passenger traffic was finally stopped. Since June 20, 1997 there has been no more freight traffic on the route.
