The church Ellingen is a half-timbered building from the 17th century and was changed at the beginning of the 19th century. The altarpiece dates from the 1st half of the 17th century and is decorated with lots of decorations, passion reliefs , figural decorations and a cartouche with a Majestas Domini picture scheme . Above are two late Gothic carved figures. The pulpit dates from the 17th century, the seats and the gallery are from a more recent construction period. The organ in the gallery dates from 1873.

Atonement Cross Ellingen

The atonement cross is made of granite and shows a hand with spread fingers in a circle on the east side. Four crosses are placed equidistant from one another. The west side also has a circle, which however contains a cross from the two diameters that bisect. The ends of the diameters again show the four attached crosses outside. The stone cross originally stood on the edge of the Chauseer, but was moved in 1938. Today it stands at the junction of the L 258 from the B 198 .
