Baixa da Banheira is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Moita . The community had 21,258 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Baixa da Banheira and Vale da Amoreira were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Baixa da Banheira e Vale da Amoreira . Baixa da Banheira is the seat of this newly formed community.
